Haryana Board of School Education has founded the Haryana Open School (HOS) in the year 1994 to provide education to all in the State of Haryana. Their main aim is to stop the students from discontinuation of school education due to any financial, social and other reasons and also to reduce the rate of illiteracy.
The board used to conduct Annual and Supplementary examinations for the candidates of 10th (Secondary) and 12th (Senior Secondary). Here we are providing the Haryana Open School Books Pdf for the students who are preparing to appear for the examination to be conducted by the board.
Haryana Open School Books Pdf
The syllabus for HOS (Haryana Open) is the same as of the regular classes. And the books for Open School Students and the Regular students are also the same.
HBSE has to follow the syllabus decided by the NCERT. And NCERT has given all the books to download on its website. You can download the books also from the NCERT website. Some of the books are also available on diksha.gov.in/hr/.

HOS 10th Class Books
So the candidates who want to appear for the 10th (Secondary) examination, they have to study all the compulsory subject (5 papers) and one optional subject from Punjabi, Sanskrit, Home Science, Urdu, Physical Education, Computer Science. Students should one optional subject out of 6 optional subjects.
The compulsory subjects are Hindi (First Language), English (Second Language), Mathematics, Social Science, and Science & Technology.
Books are given in the pdf format for download. Students can study these books for the exam preparation to score good marks.

HOS has given the criteria for qualifying in the board examination. Students have to score at least 33 % marks in aggregate (external & internal examination) in order to earn the Certificate of Qualification. Candidates can download the required books from the download links given below.
HOS 12th Class Books Pdf
There are three groups available in Senior Secondary examination (12th). Candidates can select one group out of 3 groups (i.e) Arts, Science & Commerce. Candidates have to obtain 33 % of marks in the external and internal examination to get the mark sheet from the board.
Students those who wish to write the examination, they have to study five subjects from their selected senior secondary group. If the candidate did not crack one subject, they will have to write the same subject only in the next attempt of board examination.
