There are rumors on social media that the summer vacations may be preponed this year because of the heat waves. But this is not official news. The Education Department will issue a separate notification regarding the vacations. It will be issued in the next week. As soon as the department releases the notice we will update it here.

Haryana Govt School Summer Holidays 2024
For the last couple of years, summer vacations in the schools of Haryana were started in the last week of May month. But this time the season of summer knocked on the doors in the first week of June month.
So the department will announce the summer break for all academic institutions from 1st June instead of the last week of May month. All the Primary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, and Senior Secondary Schools will remain closed.

The step is taken because of the scorching heat in the state. All the private, as well as government schools, will be closed during these holidays. Teachers of the schools are also asked to give summer vacation homework to the students.
The government of Haryana has issued an advisory to the citizens of the state also. CM Manohar Lal Katter tweeted advice for the people of Haryana to keep themselves safe from the scorching sun.
