It is released by the Health and Family Welfare Department. On 21st June 2008, the department announced the implementation of empanelled hospitals with the supersession of the department’s Notification No. HFW-B (A) 8-l/2003(I/N-IV) dated 1.11.2007. This implementation will be applied to hospitals, health institutions and diagnostic labs (recognized). As of the latest data report, HP claims to have 130 private empanelled hospitals (within the state) and 89 private empanelled hospitals (outside the state).
