Here is the monthly syllabus that is followed in Play School. It is designed in a way that your child does not feel any kind of pressure. 

Baby (2-3 Years)

In India now Bal Vatika Concept has been adopted. There are three stages of Bal Vatika. These are :-

Bal Vatika 1 (Age Group 3 year

The proper age to start playschools for children in India is deemed to be between 2-4 years. In some areas, it can vary from 1.5 a year up to 3 years. The first phase of playschool is called Nursery. The basics of the subject are taught to the children. A lot of classes as well as outdoor activities are performed at the same time.

a. English (language) that allows students to be taught the basics of using a pencil and writing.

b. Alphabets: Learning capital letters starting from A to Z and becoming familiar with the various objects that are related to the alphabet.

III) Numbers: Identification Number, the number and its value Sequencing starting from (1-20) (-20), the Count and Match

LKG (4 Years)

I) English here is slightly more advanced than in nursery with the addition of some lessons.

II) capital Letters (A-Z)Small Letters (a-z) —Identification of writing objects that are related to each letter with matching small and capital letters. consonants and vowels, and rhyming words to increase listening abilities.

iii) Opposites: Differentiate between gender and pairing

vi) Numbers (1-50): Writing the numbers and matching them with other quantities and dots, numbers that are missing and count, write/tick/circle the color and count, before and after numbers numerals.

vii) Shapes: Circle, Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Semi-Circle, Oval

General Awareness

UKG (5 Years)

I) UKG syllabus is more advanced than Nursery as well as LKG. It is however an evolution of the earlier two classes but only one step up.

II) English (Language): Besides all the things that were taught during the earlier standard kids also learn about concepts like these and these articles- “a” and “an” and rhyming words. Conversations and sentence construction using specific words are all performed.
